Teen Video Game Tournament in Fountain Hills: Free Summer Fun for Gamers Ages 11–17
Looking for something fun for your teen to do this summer in Fountain Hills? The upcoming Teen Video Game Tournament is bringing friendly competition, free pizza, prizes, and nonstop gaming excitement to the community this June.
Hosted at the Fountain Hills Community Center, this free event is designed for teens ages 11–17 and features tournament-style gameplay in two fan-favorite Nintendo games: Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.

This event is completely free to attend, but pre-registration is required.
What Teens Can Expect
Participants will compete in organized gaming brackets separated by age groups:
- Ages 11-133
- Ages 14-17
Players can test their skills, enjoy snacks and free pizza, and compete for prizes awarded to top finishers.
Mario Kart Tournament
The Mario Kart competition will feature:
- 4-player multiplayer
- 150cc racing
- Double elimination format
- Prizes for 1st–3rd place
Players can choose their favorite characters and karts while racing head-to-head in bracket-style competition.
Super Smash Bros Tournament
Smash Bros competitors can expect:
- 1v1 battles
- Stock rules format
- 4-minute matches
- Single elimination tournament
- Random stage selection
- Prizes for top players
